I grew up in a small town in Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland. I am the second of seven children. I was educated in Cork and Dublin by the Carmelite Order and I served as a Carmelite priest from 1984 to 2012.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, a Higher Diploma in Education and a Master’s Degree in Spirituality. More importantly, I have over thirty years experience providing a spirituality ministry in the Christian tradition.
I consider listening and teaching to be my best ministry gifts. I am certainly happy to listen and to teach. My listening style is gentle and compassionate and my teaching methods are clear and engaging. I also enjoy facilitating conversations about the deeper things in life.
I am self-employed working freelance with both individuals and groups. I do not have any facilities of my own. I prefer instead to meet people in their own environment and to use places that are convenient and conducive to reflection and the experience of companionship.
